Introduction
This is Deb's online journal that was originally created to track and manage her new journey in life that began July 2008 and ended on February 26th, 2009 when she passed away peacefully in our home. I will leave Deb's journal online to share knowledge here no matter how small with other's out there with similar diagnosis to gain additional hope, insight, and experience. To Haiti with Love,

My beautiful wife of 20 years, Debra Dreyer, passed away last year from a rare form of cancer. For months, I struggled to find a special use for all of her beautiful clothes. I wanted the clothes to go to a place where there was great need. At the same time, I wanted to honor Deb’s incredible spirit of love and peace.
The death and destruction caused by the recent earthquake and the monumental loss your country has experienced profoundly moved me. It was then that I knew where my wife’s clothes could make a significant difference. I also know my wife would be very happy knowing her clothes were going to such a worthy cause.
Therefore, on behalf of my sons Taylor, Tommy and my-self Rod Dreyer, we would like to donate all Deb’s clothes and shoes to the women of Haiti. You should know that Debra was a school teacher, wife and loving mother. She believed in peace throughout this great world we all are blessed to live in and I know Debra is smiling knowing her clothes will help provide some much needed warmth, comfort and happiness to the special women of Haiti.
Please know these clothes carry Debra’s angelic spirit of love. It is our prayer that they will help give you strength to move you forward in your lives.

Special thank you to East Cobb Church of Christ and Walmart for leading the efforts to help the beautiful people of Haiti. Met a very special couple Sam and Marlene who are doing an incredible job with all the logistics to make sure the shipment makes it safely to Haiti via Walmart, Royal Caribbean Cruiselines and even donkeys taking the clothes the final leg to the Haiti villages.

My family and I have wanted to find a special way to express our deepest thank you to all who helped us during Deb's journey this past year.
To our close friends, special people at Highland Ridge and Keheley Elementary, it was our highest honor and privilege to extend a warm invitation to all a Special Night, under the stars with Michael Carlton King. Michael King is an amazing vocal artist, specializing in R&B classics, and has a diverse repertoire including a little James Taylor. As a special surprise treat, Michael included Eugene who plays the sax. Together, they transformed our neighborhood pool parking lot into a true night of love.
Every song performed by Michael and Eugene were met with many smiles from all. His inclusion of some special songs selected from this site showed his true compassion for the beautiful life connections you encounter in your path of life.
Michael truly melted hearts and everyone experienced a night of love, music and friendship.
Thank you Michael for your beautiful soul and allowing all the wonderful people that helped us during Deb's journey to enjoy your music.
