We have added a reclining bed to our room for Deb. Connie had a great idea about putting the bed next to the window so Deb can look out to see the trees which are now starting to bloom. In addition, she also suggested adding a bird feeder outside the window. It just so happens that there is a big tree next to our house with a branch extending out near Deb’s new bed window where a bird feeder will work out perfect for the boys to hang out there for their mom. Connie you continue to amaze us with your life experiences and you are one of Deb’s most precious life angels :)
In continuation from my last entry, this post is not any easier to write to everyone but I know we are ALL in this together with Deb. I am so sorry to write that Deb continues to lose strength daily even though she is keeping up her appetite ok. Her confusion level is increasing but she continues to be very aware of everyone around her. It is obvious that she knows what she wants to say but she struggles to get her words to come out in the right order. She can no longer walk on her own but just know that she continues to be in much loved hands daily. I am taking turns with Susan working from the house this week to be with Deb and give Bonnie a much needed break.
On behalf of all of Deb's life angels out there, please know that we continue to share your prayers, strength and love daily to Deb.
KTS and love to all,

I know words can do very little at this point. I pray for your boys. For their strength, their peace of mind, and the fortitude to face each day. I pray for serenity for Deb and peace for her body and her strong spirit. And i send strength to you Rod, the rope that binds your family and keeps them together and close in so many ways. Hang in there.
A Mom
Dear Debbie,
We know you will enjoy being by the window to see the birds at the feeder. I have fed the birds in our yard ever since 1983. Fred buys the small black oil sunflower seeds in 50 pound bags for me at the feed store where we buy horse feed. I keep the seed bag in the garage in a metal garbage can and fill the feeders as needed. We see beautiful songbirds of all sizes.
Debbie, you are in our prayers and thoughts always.
Love from Uncle Fred and Aunt Rose
